We want you!
We are recruiting a youth panel who will allocate up to $15,000 of funding towards a number of amazing projects in the second round of decision making for the School Sustainability and Resilience Fund (SSRF) 2023.
We are currently calling for applications of interest for this panel.
If you are keen, please…
- Familiarise yourself with what the project will involve.
- Check the time required works for you and that you are available to vote on 19 May 2023.
- Express your interest using the online form below.
- Press SUBMIT.
Members of the Bay of Plenty Regional Council Community Engagement Team will consider all applications. All applicants will be notified either way.
Be part of an important voting process!
What will the project involve?
We are looking for up to 12 members to fill the role of the Youth Panel and this is what we’re after:
- Are you aged between 12 and 24 years old?
- Do you have access to the internet/zoom?
- Are you keen to be part of an important voting process?
- Do you live in the Bay of Plenty Region?
- Are you passionate about education and the environment and can commit to approximately 5 hours of time?
- Can you meet on voting day - 19 May 2023 (either in person at your closest Bay of Plenty Regional Council office or online – yet to be decided?)
There will be two meetings held via zoom before voting day to inform the process, provide guidance, collaborate as a panel member, and start to make decisions.
The Youth Panel will decide if we get together face to face or meet on zoom to make the final votes on voting day (Friday 19 May).
